I hope that the FCC won’t have to deal with me because of these young lads giving the good ol’ birdie. Here’s what’s left of the last Dim Mak Tuesdays for the month of February. Check out more photos of Steve, Kid Cudi, and Dan Black on the cobrasnake. Up next: Uffie!

The pressure is on as the Scanners will be playing SXSW on the 17th (UO) and 18th for the second time around, while promoting the release of their second album Submarine. This time, the quartet will be making bigger, better changes, while experiencing the scene even more than before with earplugs. So hopefully they are well-equipped for the showdown. Check out what they have to say in their interviews from Online Rock and AOL’s Spinner. Don’t mess with the Scanners!

The wait is over for the official Tron Legacy trailer (in case you missed seeing it blow up on the internets)! The original Tron movie was a big part of my childhood (and the second DVD I bought when DVDs became more standard to own) and continues to be a big inspiration for me. I had a chance to watch a screening of Tron (b/w The Big Lebowski) my freshman year at UCSB which was followed by a surprise Q&A session with none other than Jeff Bridges (stoked that he finally won an Oscar). I took the movie and turned it into an art project my last year at SB set to an Ed Banger classic, check it out after the Tron Legacy trailer below.

In case you missed it, yesterday was International Women’s Day! Though female artists are underrepresented at Dim Mak, Steve tackles the issue with his long hair don’t care attitude. In addition, the PiC of Dim Mak occasionally blast the speakers out to The xx, so take that y chromosome!

And in other news, a bunch of men, a few women, and a baby gathered in Venice Beach during British filmmaker Philip Bloom’s Great HD-DSLR Meetup on Sunday to discuss their sharpshooting weapons. Here’s a video filmed and edited by a different Luke:
