Stay Puft!
July 30, 2008
The West Hollywood Stay Puft Dodgeball finals are tonight. That said, some of you might want to check out the games if you are thinking of joining the Silverlake Up High / Down Low league with all the club kids. That league is recruiting now for the next season.
Tonight’s game is at Poinsettia Park, on Poinsettia, a street that runs perpendicular to Santa Monica blvd. It’s south of the blvd, behind the Trader Joe’s and north of Willoughby. 4 teams are left, 1st game at eight, winners play each other at nine. No, you can’t play tonight cause it’s serious business, the teams all hate each other after a long season and the rules and official rosters are strictly enforced, but these will be intense games to watch.

The Up High / Down Low will have bunches of open gym session before their season so hit up their myspace.
My team, The $tatus Faction, is predicted to de$troy tonight on an off the court.

As you have read
the American apparel flea market was a hit,
some what.
The vendors were kind of shoved to the back of the alley
between the warehouses, which sucked.
Regardless, it was eventful and I ate the best tamales of my LIFE.
anyway Mark had to jet (no pun intended) around like 3
so i maned the Cobrasnake goods.
Next time you guys gotta buy more of marks amazing things
so bring more cash monies to future sales,
because i promised Mark id do better next time!!haha
anyway

DMC and American Apparel hosted the 2nd annual Flea Market yesterday. No doubt it was a huge success. Now this wasn’t just a another sample sale, it turned out to be an event. There were performances, delicious food, photo Ops, activities for adults and the young minds, other sale booths. The works. I would say thousands showed up for this event. The line was intense but it should be worth it. The deals were insane. $5 shirts and $15 jackets?! Yes, L.A. hipsters rejoice as many dug through boxes overfilled with merchandise. I will get stomach pains paying retail from now on. But nonetheless, we came out for the festivities; selling gear from the DMC as well. The event turned out amazing, and gave us all something fun to do Sunday afternoon. Check out the madness:

I was driving to the office today and heard a cover of this Thomas Dolby classic on the radio:
and to my surprise the cover was by motherfuckin’ Sondre Lerche! I thought I recognized the voice, but the cover was more XTC meets Buzzcocks at a new wave concert. WTF. I just bought the song on iTunes. BBQ.
