Raebot, I commend you for finding Snoop Dogg’s twin, or rather Jafar’s twin, since I’m not too sure who came first. In lieu of an Intern-net Surfing #20 post, here is one that TMZ helped me with. It may just be a bit of a stretch, but a stretch is what people with wrinkles need anyways, no? Burn, I peel the pain, I really do.

Be Street, the French urban magazine, is slowly invading America via Barnes and Noble. Until then, Americans and other nationales like The Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki and Refused will be filling up pages in foreign magazines instead. Need proof? Just look at this ad for The Bloody Beetroots & Steve Aoki Feat. Refused - “New Noise” in Be Street. Oh, so crisp and so clear!

Last weekend saw Dim Mak takeover a stage at the Beatpatrol Festival in Austria. With Disco Demons, Stereo Heroes, Dirty Disco Youth, Crookers, Steve Aoki, Joachim Garraud & The Bloody Beetroots all destroying the place!!
Thanks to all that came and take a look at the photos below.

I’m tired of that whole “MELtdown” because frankly I could Gib a damn.
Moving on to another topic that many could give less of a damn about as well is the dropping of Kanye’s upcoming album, Good Ass Job. It’s rumored to be released Sept. 14. P.S. He dropped Amber, too.

Stella McCartney and PETA are addressing and (hopefully) redressing the Buckingham Palace guards with synthetic hats instead of bear fur. No more royal pain!

How is that StarCraft II treating you? Worth the $60?

Drowning is actually the number two cause of accidental death in children, age 15 and under. The bottom line is, since it’s summertime, please be aware of your surroundings while at the poolside.

Studies show that the older and more educated you are, the higher the length of your unemployment. On the contrary, the more difficult it is to lose their job.
There are a lot of smiles at Plant headquarters these days. Why? Clubfeet. That’s why. We are elated that we can finally share their music with the rest of the world, at last able to answer the question we’ve heard so many times over the last year, “so when is Clubfeet coming out?” with a “RIGHT NOW!” In case you don’t know, Melbourne’s Clubfeet are offering up some undeniably beautiful music these days that does wonders on the dance floor, in the car, on the yacht, at 35,000 feet in the air, or on the beach; and in the meantime, creating quite a buzz. With their full length debut Gold on Gold out this week on Plant Music, Clubfeet’s blend of suh-weet pop vocals and suave production finally brings this great act into the limelight. We can’t tell you how much we have fallen in love with this record, and we think you will too.

Man, those Aussies really stay killing it, huh? The second single from the album Gold on Gold, “Count Your Lovers,” gets remixed by New York nu-disco heavyweight Eli Escobar who makes it DJ-friendly by extending the intro, rebuilding the song, and adding smacking drums - so good!. Also on board is Udachi of AC Slater’s Party Like Us Records who takes us on a very trippy bass excursion. More remixes come courtesy of Boltan (the semi-secret combo of Udachi and AC Slater), San Diego’s Bit Thief who turns CYL into bouncy house and finally Australia’s Elke who has made a really hot synthy electro remix with an 80’s feel, complete with keytar solo!
Hot off the trails of M.I.A.’s third release, /\/\/\Y/\, Dan Oh comes keyboard stabs blazing with this bootleg remix of “Lovalot” off the album. This Dark Knight of a remix can be streamed at SoundCloud, linked below or downloaded from here. Get ready to lovalot of this track & catch him every Tuesday @ Cinespace!

Grand Central is a midsize live-performance venue that has a killer light show and sound system. The open warehouse-like space in Downtown Miami opened it’s doors last WMC to showcase the world premiere of Duck Sauce, along with the NYC based FIXED party.
Following the opening they booked acts such as MAJOR LAZER, Kid Sister, Theophilus London, Felix Da Housecat, Treasure Fingers and more…
In the coming months, Grand Central will be the destination for Respect is Burning’s legendary ÉTÉ D’AMOUR party featuring BREAKBOT and have partnered with Miami extraordinaire POPLIFE to bring Crystal Castles, Ninjasonik, the Slow Roast Records Showcase to a city in desperate need of entertainment and fun.
If you’re ever in the magic city, be sure to stop by this spankin’ new venue!
