Today is A-trak and the late DJ AM’s birthdays. A-trak, aka Alain Macklovitch, rose to fame as Kanye West’s handpicked tour DJ. He was the youngest DJ ever to win all three major DJ competition titles in addition to also winning 5 world championships. Currently, he is touring with Travis Barker unleashing a new mix of Barker’s live drums with A-trak’s mixing/scratching skills in hopes of being able to come close to perfecting what AM and Barker began. RIP DJ AM.

This is the latest from Mr. Solo Dolo. Directed by Jason Goldwatch & Decon Creative Group, the video features months of Kid Cudi’s tour footage for a visual journey to go along with the soundtrack of his life. It is rumored that this video along with the “Cudderisback” video (which is also directed by Jason Goldwatch) is all part of one large documentary project. Can’t wait to see it!
